Here's what we offer in store!

Books

We offer a wide range of books written by Indigenous authors, including anthologies, non-fiction, thriller and horror, medicinal knowledge and more. All our books are sourced from Good Minds, an Indigenous bookstore based out of Six Nations, Ontario.

Art Prints & Original Paintings

Kalihwiyo offers a wide range of art prints and original paintings. Our current works range from small to large, muted to vibrant colours and iconic imagery to landscapes, but one thing they each have in common is that they all reflect unique cultural knowledge and expression. Vendors include Morningstar Designs, Luke Swinson Art, Mangeshig, August Swinson, Chief Lady Bird, Caleb Dysart and Denesee Paul.

Coffee

We sell 6 different ground blends from Birch Bark Coffee Co, a Certified First Nations Business based out of Northern Ontario. The founder, Mark Marsolais-Nahwegahbow is Ojibway and a band member of Whitefish River First Nation.

Beadwork & Jewelry

Kalihwiyo hosts more than 10 Indigenous vendors that specialize in handmade beadwork. All pieces are unique and one of a kind, and range from small and casual to large statement pieces. Beadwork is a traditional Indigenous art, with each artist using their own unique style of creating.

Blankets, Textiles & Housewares

We offer the iconic Mini Tipi Reversible Blankets in store, as well as Indigo Arrow linen napkins, pillows and handmade pottery. Blankets are traditionally an item given as a gift or token of gratitude.

Aromatherapy & Soap

Kalihwiyo has a variety of aromatherapy in store, ranging from medicinal room sprays to soaps and essential oils. Each piece is made with one of our four sacred medicines - sage, sweetgrass, cedar and tobacco - and all offer spiritual and physical cleansing properties. Vendors include Mother Earth Essentials and LJ Turtle Aromatherapy.

Crafts & Handmades

Our handmade items include pottery, painted wooden bowls, hand drums and felted and porcelain ornaments. Crafts and handmade items are a traditional form of Indigenous art, and are a way that Indigenous people can both create and financially sustain themselves.
